Happy Pride Month! Plus the Release of a New Kindle Vella Story & More...
First and foremost, I want to wish a very happy Pride Month to my LGBTQ+ besties! 🥳🏳️🌈 It's more important now than ever, if you can, to be as loudly, boldly, and delightfully queer as possible...
Keep safe, watch out for each other, and protect our trans siblings. For those of you who don’t already know, I identify as bisexual, and while this month is meant to be a time of celebration, it also must be one of resistance considering the political and cultural climate we’re facing in much of the U.S. I strongly encourage you to research who your representatives in government are and where they stand on the issues that are important to you. Make sure your voice is heard, and if you’re able, donate to a verified cause that helps LGBTQ+ individuals such as the Human Rights Campaign or the Trevor Project.
Next up, my latest Kindle Vella exclusive, Witching Hour: The Dubailte Curse Book 3 launched today! The first three episodes of Kindle Vella stories are always free, but currently Kindle Vella is only available in the U.S. I’m hoping that will change soon, and everyone will get to meet these new characters. In the meantime, if my U.S. friends and readers could share the news across social media, I would greatly appreciate it
And lastly, remember that my full length novels in the Wolfe & Vaughn Mystery series—Stitches, Scar Tissue, and Wounded—are all available for FREE if you have Kindle Unlimited, or at a modest price for ebook and paperback. Reviews are an author’s lifeblood, so if you’ve read any of these books and enjoyed them, please smack a 5-star rating over on Amazon and Goodreads for Pride Month. Quick Project Renegade update: I’m almost at 50,000 words on the first draft, and my first thesis class for my MFA begins in July. Wish me luck as I move into what is bound to be a weird and stressful time
