The first draft of Project Renegade is complete! Plus, a special announcement...
I'm so excited to share that the first draft of Project Renegade - AKA my 4th novel overall, the 1st novel in the spinoff of the Wolfe & Vaughn Mysteries, and my MFA thesis project - is finally...
… complete! 🥳 We still have a long ways to go before it’ll be in your hands or on your screens, but many writers like to say that finishing the book is the hardest part, and I tend to agree. Right now, the only people who have laid eyes on Project Renegade (which I affectionately refer to as PR or simply Renegade) are myself and my thesis professor per class requirements. Once I’ve completed my first pass revisions, I’ll be sharing PR with my beta readers, who have graciously offered their time and opinions to help make my book better. Then more revisions are on tap, and you guessed it: in 2024, there will be a Kickstarter to raise funds for a cover and other publishing expenses, with a release date TBD after that!
In other news, this past weekend I announced that I’m doing my first in-person author event since 2019 on November 4th at the Dover Public Library! I’m extremely fortunate to live in a state that has so many amazing libraries, and when I got the invite to participate in this year’s Indie Author Day event, I said yes immediately. Below is everything you need to know about this FREE event, and I hope to see some of you there!
And that’s it - at least for now! I hope you’re all doing well, and that you’re excited for Project Renegade to debut next year, because I know I am!!! Until next time!
